Executive Development Program Deadline Approaches

Sept. 25, 2012

If you are a key decision maker in your company, the National Automatic Merchandising Association's (NAMA) powerful Executive Development Program (EDP) is a must-attend session, announced NAMA Associate Director OneShowSM and Member Services Joann DeNardis, PHR. With just one month away, it's the last chance for industry members to register for this program.

The informative five-day certificate course will be held in conjunction with Michigan State University (MSU) Sunday to Thursday, Oct. 21 to 25, on the MSU campus in East Lansing, Mich. It is designed for senior-level leaders who are key decision makers in areas such as finance, marketing, operations and human resources, and is customized to provide an ideal learning experience for suppliers, distributors, brokers, and operators in the vending, foodservice and coffee service industries.

When asked about the program DeNardis said, in a prepared statement, "The EDP is a not-to-be-missed program for senior level leaders serious about advancing their career in the industry. It's a great opportunity to join your industry peers from already registered companies such as ARAMARK, Coca-Cola, G&J Marketing and Sales, and Vistar just to name a few. In addition to the practical exercises and learning experiences, the incredible contacts attendees gather are priceless."

MSU distinguished faculty from the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management, The School of Hospitality Business and the College of Communications and Sciences along with key industry experts will focus on current trends vending and coffee service leaders face in today's competitive environment.

The program includes diverse topics to help attendees refresh and reprogram typical business thinking. The topics include strategic leadership, finance, technology, marketing, sales management, social media and more.

"The EDP boasts more than 12 programs and 400-plus graduates and continues to be extraordinarily valuable if you are serious about climbing the professional ladder to success," concluded DeNardis.

To register, a downloadable brochure is available at www.vending.org under the education tab at the top. For more information contact DeNardis at [email protected].
