Virginia Anti-Obesity Program Includes Nutrition Education And Aggressive Monitoring

A program in Virginia, The Faces of Hope, a weight loss and nutrition program founded in 2007 by a Chesterfield couple, includes a twice-monthly home visit from a dietitian who peeks inside the families' pantries and offers advice on how to prepare healthier food, checks in with the child's doctor monthly, providing his or her attendance record, BMI and weight, according to The Times Dispatch in Richmond, Va.
