Government Agencies Join Advocacy Groups Calling For National Online Nutrition Database

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, along with 34 other health organizations, is calling on the federal government to create a national nutrition database that would allow consumers to compare grocery food products online, based on their nutritious value, according to Crain’s New York Business in New York, N.Y.
