Exhibit Space Nearly Full For Joint International Vending Trade Show, Eu’Vend And Coffeena

July 22, 2014

Eu’Vend, the international trade fair for the vending industry, will take place for the fifth time Sept. 8 to 10, 2011 in Cologne, Germany. Nearly the entire vending sector will be present at Eu’Vend. And the coffee sector has responded very positively to the announcement that Eu’Vend will be presented this year in conjunction with coffeena -- the international coffee & tea fair. In addition to major, market-leading roasting companies, numerous suppliers of specialties and manufacturers of coffee machines and cups have decided to take part in the trade fair duo. Eu’Vend + coffeena are thus presenting a broad spectrum of exhibitors and themes that will appeal to operators and buyers from the food service and catering market. With about 210 companies already registered, the duo of trade fairs is nearly booked out.

Eu’Vend + coffeena have also improved in terms of their international character. Exhibitors from 23 countries are expected at the 2011 event; in 2009 a total of 18 countries were represented.

The major roasting companies exhibiting in Cologne include Darboven, Jacobs

and Nestlé. And numerous smaller suppliers will be on hand to exhibit products. Eu’Vend + coffeena are also well-positioned when it comes to instant products, thanks to exhibiting companies such as Barry Callebaut, Satro and Laqtia. And the organizers have succeeded in attracting two grower countries to be exhibitors -- Indonesia and India. Peter Grothues, vice president food, technology and environment at Koelnmesse GmbH, believes that not only the vending sector, but also the coffee sector has now found its platform thanks to the combination of the two trade fairs. “The contents and the market participants complement one another and benefit from one another,” said Grothues in a prepared statement.

For the first time, 12 Italian companies will exhibit together at a pavilion at

Eu’Vend + coffeena. The companies will offer vending-related products and

coffee specialties and corresponding segments. The Italian companies include:

AAT Oranfresh, Captani, Lab, Manea Vending, NI.SI., Oro Caffé, Style, Top Moka Italia and Zonzini.

Eu’Vend + coffeena will be presented in Hall 8 at Koelnmesse. The hall, which

is directly accessible via the North entrance at the exhibition center, will be

divided into an Eu’Vend area and a coffeena area. “And a shared exhibition

corridor emphasizes how well the two themes harmonize with each other,”

said Grothues.

The supporting program focusing on coffee also continues to develop. In addition to barista seminars, which will be presented jointly with the Berlin School of Coffee, the Kaffeeschule Hannover (Hanover Coffee School) is organizing the first “coffee-cup-cologne”. Coffee aficionados are invited to compete at this “small-scale championship”. In the spotlight here will be specialist expertise and the skills needed to prepare various specialty coffees.

In addition to attractive prizes for the winners, there will be a special feature: A voucher entitling the bearer to take part in a course at Kaffeeschule Hannover will be given away to one of the five least successful competitors. Registrations can be submitted now at www.coffeecup.kaffeeschule.com. (Participation fee:

€20, the fee for those who register at the event is €30).

The Deutsche Röstergilde (German Coffee Roasters Guild) is an official coffeena partner and represents the interests of specialized coffee roasters by providing comprehensive information on the pleasures of coffee and its hallmarks of quality. The Deutsche Röstergilde will also hold its autumn conference at coffeena.

Eu’Vend is organized by Koelnmesse GmbH. The conceptual sponsor of the fair

is the German Vending Association (bdv).

A total of 205 suppliers from 18 countries exhibited at the most recent

Eu’Vend in September 2009. The trade fair was attended by approximately

5,000 trade visitors from 59 countries. With its approximately 3,550 visitors and 84 exhibitors, coffeena also produced excellent results.
