Kellogg Co. Commits $250,000 For Disaster Relief

July 22, 2014

Kellogg Co. will commit an additional $250,000 to support U.S. disaster relief efforts following the devastating tornadoes in the Midwest and South, and recent flooding in the South. These funds were committed from Kellogg's Corporate Citizenship Fund to the American Red Cross.

"We recognize the number, and severity, of natural disasters is stretching available resources for organizations aiding relief efforts," said Celeste Clark, senior vice president, global public policy and external relations, Kellogg Company, and president, Kellogg's Corporate Citizenship Fund in a prepared statement. "We are confident this donation will assist Red Cross with the critical services they are providing during this difficult time."

Kellogg earlier announced a $400,000 cash and product commitment to Feeding America, the nation's largest hunger-relief charity, for disaster relief efforts.

In addition, Kellogg has also contributed to recent disaster relief efforts in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Spain. In total, Kellogg has provided nearly $1.5 million in cash and product donations for disaster relief this year.
