Nestle Acquires Medical Chewing Gum Maker
Nestlé S.A. has acquired CM&D Pharma Ltd., a U.K.-based pharmaceutical start up that is testing a chewing gum to help kidney-disease sufferers, the first move in the company's latest effort to build a business selling food products that target diseases, according to The Wall Street Journal.
