Washington State Bill Bans Styrofoam Food Packages, Plastic Utensils And Petroleum-Based Beverage Bottles

A Washington state legislator has introduced a bill that would create incentives for the collection and recycling of beverage bottles, ban food from being served in Styrofoam and would ban plastic eating utensils, and ban petroleum-based beverage bottles, according to Boswell Consulting, the lobbyist for the Northwest Automatic Vending Association.
