U.S. Food Safety Agencies Face Budget Cuts

Key food safety agencies, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention would take substantial cuts under a plan approved by the House to fund the government from March to September.
