Food and Drug Administration Misses March 23, 2011 Deadline On Releasing Calorie Disclosure Rules For Vending

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) missed its March 23 deadline for releasing calorie disclosure rules, according to Ned Monroe, senior vice president of government affairs for the National Automatic Merchandising Association. Monroe noted that an FDA staffer said they expect only a short delay in getting these documents out.
