Texas Merchandise Vending Association Holds Day At The Capitol In Austin, Texas

The Texas Merchandise Vending Association (TMVA) recently held its TMVA Day at the Capitol in Austin, Texas.

TMVA provided breakfast to over 100 representatives and staffers. This provided a time of interaction and discussion with a variety of representatives from across the state.

Thanks to the support of brokers, distributors and manufacturers, the association put together a box of snacks including Fit-Pick stickers and a letter to each representative and senator. The letter expressed concerns regarding taxation and nutrition labeling legislation. These boxes were personally delivered to the offices of all 31 senators and 150 representatives on this day.

TMVA was recognized by Rep. Leo Berman on the floor of the House of Representatives with a resolution. The association was also recognized with a resolution by senators Robert Nichols and Kevin Eltife on the senate floor.
