Vendors Exchange International Inc. hosts educational event to honor 50th anniversary

Approximately 160 vending operators and suppliers came from all over the country to the Vendors Exchange International Inc. headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio for the company’s 50th anniversary open house.

The attendees were treated to demonstrations throughout the day on VEII technology: the Make Informed Nutrition Decisions (MIND) nutrition screen, the Revision door, LED lighting, and the universal control board.

Attendees received door prices and discounts provided by several exhibitors.

Michigan State University Professor Michael Kasavana, Ph.D., CHTP, gave a presentation on the impact of technology on the industry.

Dean Gilland, NCE5, CCS, vice president of sales and service of the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA), attended the event, along with Sue Ralston, CEM, director of sales and service for the NAMA OneShow.

Following the tours and demonstrations, attendees were treated to a dinner at the 100th Bomb Group Restaurant near the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
