Fresh Bowl, a startup company, launched June 24 a set of three vending machines offering fresh salads in New York City, according to Fast Company. The glass jars the salads come in can be returned to the vending machine for a $2 discount in an option Fresh Bowl values as a part of its sustainability mission. The company plans to continue its expansion this summer.
