Tres Locos expands automated airport dining with Evolvending partnershi
Tres Picosos has partnered with Evolvending to expand its Tres Locos Mexican food brand through automated dining locations in U.S. airports.
Tres Locos currently operates a kiosk at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. The location offers several of the brand’s burritos, including Bacon Breakfast, Chicken Fajita, Picadillo Beef and Pork Carnitas, along with street-style tacos. The partnership extends Tres Picosos’ presence beyond its existing quick-service restaurant, convenience and grocery channels and into automated airport foodservice.
“The Evolvending concept fills an important need when convenience is essential, and enjoyment is valued,” said Jane Hartgrove, head of Tres Picosos.
Tres Locos products are also available at EvolveCAFÉ locations at Boston Logan International Airport, Charleston International Airport and Southwest Florida International Airport.
Evolvending CEO Valentina Ellison said adding Tres Locos expands the range of food brands available through the company’s platform and gives airport partners more options to address traveler preferences.
“One of the strengths of our platform is our ability to bring together a diverse portfolio of brands that reflects how travelers want to eat today,” Ellison said.
Tres Picosos said it plans to open additional airport locations in the coming months.
