Coca-Cola Japan launches vended beverage subscription service

Coca-Cola Japan is starting a flat-rate subscription service for beverages purchased at its vending machines deployed in Japan, according to a report by Nikkei.

Patrons can register for the service, called Coke ON Pass, on their smartphones. Users will be able to pick up and receive one drink from a coke vending machine every day for 2,700 yen per month.

Nikkei reported that Coca-Cola Japan’s subscription service will be supported by 340,000 vending machines nationwide.
