Cargo theft recording firms CargoNet and SensiGuard have warned there may be an increase of theft over the July 4 holiday period, according to Overdrive Magazine.
The firms recommended avoiding leaving cargo unattended in insecure areas and using security measures such as high-visibility lighting and fences. Truck stops, rest areas and distribution centers are often targets.
