H A Franz & Co. - Houston

H.A. Franz & Co. was a Texas distributor of coin-operated, vending and amusement equipment. The company served operators across Texas and Oklahoma for roughly 60 years and became well known in the vending, music and games industries.

In 2016, AVS Companies (then operating as American Vending Sales) acquired H.A. Franz & Co., adding its Houston and Dallas operations to its distribution network. Joe Franz, who led H.A. Franz, remained with the company after the acquisition to oversee Texas operations.

He retired from AVS Companies in 2021.
