AVS Companies highlights smart cooler options at the NAMA Show
At this year’s NAMA Show, AVS Companies is taking a focused approach: helping operators make the right call on smart coolers. Instead of pushing a single solution, the company is showcasing multiple AI-enabled options designed for different types of locations, along with the guidance to help operators decide what actually works — whether that means new equipment, an upgrade to existing equipment or a different unattended format altogether.
“At AVS Companies, we’re the partner for operators,” said Keith Krail, director of marketing for AVS. “We’re not just offering one simple solution for people — we’re offering multiple solutions for our customers because every customer is different.”
“No one customer is going to have the same type of location, and their location needs will vary. Is a market going to be better, or a couple of smart coolers, or even a vending machine?” Krail added. “We’re proud to say that we have many different smart cooler solutions for them that’ll work for their needs.”
AVS will bring that message — and the technology to back it up — to Booth 1731, showcasing its lineup of smart coolers, Azkoyen X5Touch OCS bean-to-cup machine, US Products’ premium coffee products, and, with its partner, Graphics that Pop, the new 2.0 fixtures.
Smart cooler options, backed by support
Offering its own exclusive equipment and partnering with multiple companies, AVS Companies has the breadth of offerings and in-house expertise to help operators match equipment to location. Its U.S.-based support means that operators won’t find themselves on their own, as they might if trouble arises after buying a “cheap, online cooler from other vendors,” Krail said.
AVS Companies is showcasing three new smart cooler options at the NAMA Show, designed for different operator needs, from building on existing equipment to fully integrated AI-enabled solutions. Expect to see:
AVS Companies’ CoolBlu Plus, the next iteration of its well-known CoolBlu cooler. The CoolBlu Plus builds on the food and beverage cooler platform of the CoolBlu and adds AI-smart cooler technology to the proven CoolBlu platform, with AI technology from Intuitivo AI. For operators already running CoolBlu units, the CoolBlu Plus offers a path forward into AI-enabled retail.
“The AI camera technology, mounted almost like an L-bracket at the top, works with the CoolBlu cooler, giving operators the best of both worlds: Better cooler quality with AI camera technology,” Krail said.
The Sandstar VRK, an AI-enabled, computer-vision smart cooler with four cameras and a light-up, color-changing handle and LED header.
The Habco-made exclusive CoolSmart AI cooler, also with AI-powered camera vision technology.
“We are also going to be promoting our office coffee service with US Products,” Krail said.
“The Azkoyen X5 Touch is a new bean-to-cup machine that will be on display at our booth at the NAMA Show.” Features include an easy-to-use selection panel, multiple cup sizes and integrated cashless payments.
“Our Pelican Rouge product line has been fantastic. They’re premium coffee products at a considerable price for operators. They work very well in bean-to-cup machines and OCS solutions. We’re very happy to put it on the table as a source of comparison against more expensive options.” Krail said. “You get a very good coffee and very good soluble powders. That’s a big thing that I think a lot of people overlook — the soluble powders like the powdered milk and the hot chocolate are fantastic. They solve all problems related to potential clogging in the bean-to-cup machines.”
US Products will offer samples at the NAMA Show in Booth 1731 to customers who stop by.
AVS provides service, support and solutions
“We don’t just sell equipment. We provide service, we provide support, we provide the solutions for our customers,” Krail told VendingMarketWatch.com. “With AVS Companies, you have U.S.-based support and a dedicated team of experts who will be able to provide the solutions that our customers need — if they are running into issues with maintenance, or concerns about theft, or questions about how to grow their business to expand locations or routes.”
“We’re the sum of many parts,” he added. “You know, we’ve got a lot of different people. We’ve got five different offices around the country. But, we’re all tied together by that one goal of providing the best service that we can for our customers.”
Helping their customers is a hallmark of AVS Companies’ approach to service. Krail highlighted the AVS team’s collaborative approach, working with customers to help match what they purchase to the locations they are trying to serve. While AI-enabled technologies and smart coolers are certainly a key part of their technology mix, AVS’s breadth of products and partners positions it to help operators select solutions that enable them to succeed at the location.
“We provide the best guidance that we can, whether it comes from specific equipment recommendations or suggestions regarding potential products that they would be showcasing. These are all things that matter,” Krail said.
It’s a simple takeaway, he explained. “We don’t just sell equipment. We help operators build and grow their business. It’s not an equipment thing. It’s about the growth and support of their business.”
