Lavazza introduced a coffee machine with Amazon's Alexa voice assistant built in. Named Voicy, Lavazza's latest A Modo Mio espresso machine was developed with Amazon and is the first consumer product to integrate Alexa technology.
Machine owners simply say, "Alexa, make me an espresso" to prepare a coffee drink. The A Modo Mio Voicy has a companion app to keep tabs on capsule stocks, place new orders, record daily coffee consumption and prompt machine owners when care is needed.
A Modo Mio Voicy also includes all the standard Alexa functions. Users can check traffic, weather and news, and play music, hear notifications and send messages.
