ansā sets up new U.S. operations center in Dallas

Aug. 8, 2022
The Israeli coffee-tech startup, ansā, announced the completion of its U.S. operation center setup.

ansā, a pioneer in coffee roasting technologies, is an Israeli coffee-tech startup company founded in 2020 by three experienced entrepreneurs: Matan Scharf, Yuval Weisglass and Jonathan Scharf, out of the common desire to champion an on-demand roasting solution that will usher a sustainable future of fresh and delicious coffee.

Its new operation center is located in Dallas, TX, and will serve as the company’s main warehouse, repair lab, packaging and distribution center.

ansā’s VP of operations, Ami Shemtov, said in the announcement: “We are thrilled to share the news of our operation setup completion. Now, ansā is a fully fledged U.S. entity with a significant U.S.-based operation.”

ansā's roasting technology enables non-industrial roasting at the point of consumption that is 100% automatic, rapid and clean. Deployed at scale, the ansā roasting solution allows for a viable and sustainable alternative to industrial roasting.

“We received our first shipment of specialty green (raw) coffee beans from coffee farms in Naranjo, Costa Rica, directly to our U.S. operation center,” Shemtov added. “Always sustainable in everything we do, we are exclusively using 100% recyclable boxes for coffee packaging, reasserting ansā’s vision to bring a viable and sustainable alternative to the market!”
