Eu‘Vend & coffeena Opens Up New Potential In Office Coffee Service (OCS)

Nov. 16, 2018

The vending and coffee industry is on the move and is creating new business potential. Alongside to-go concepts and 24/7 solutions, unattended retail is also considered to be one of the sales trends of the future. Furthermore, the demand for office coffee service offers is increasing and also the payment and cups sections are undergoing change. The international vending and coffee trade fair, Eu'Vend & coffeena, which is taking place in Cologne from 9 to 11 May 2019, will demonstrate which new solutions, trends and products the industry is offering.

Against the background of changing worlds of work a special focus of Eu'Vend & coffeena 2019 lies on the theme OCS. In the scope of a newly designed Office Lounge brand name companies will present solutions for the provision of customers and employees in the office as well as new trends and concepts in this section. The German Coffee Association also sees opportunities for growth in this section, because one quarter of the overall annual coffee consumption is consumed away from home - with an upwards trend. In terms of volume, the workplace accounts for around two thirds of the out-of-home sales market. To-date just under 60 percent of the employers offer coffee in their companies - whether with or without a charge. As such, 40 percent of the employers still don't provide coffee. The visionary concepts on the future world of work at this year's leading trade fair for modern worlds of work, ORGATEC in Cologne, underlined how much potential this section holds in store. Among others CA Vending, CUP&CINO, Alois Dallmayr Kaffee and Kaffee Partner were also involved here.

Eu’Vend & coffeena is organised by Koelnmesse. The industry sponsor is the German Vending Association (BDV). The trade fair is once again taking place in Hall 9 of the Cologne fair grounds, which has its own entrance. For further information see
