Corporate Essentials Named To Inc. 5000 List Of America's Fastest-Growing Companies For Sixth Time

Aug. 16, 2017

PARSIPPANY, N.J. (August 16, 2017) -- Office refreshment provider, Corporate Essentials has been named to Inc. Magazine’s annual Inc. 5000 list of the United States’ fastest-growing companies for the third-consecutive year and the sixth time overall, coming in at #2,975 out of 5,000 companies on their 2017 list.

The Inc. 5000 list annually ranks the nation’s fastest-growing, privately held companies across all industries. Corporate Essentials first made the list in 2007, and followed with subsequent appearances in 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016.

“Being featured on Inc Magazine’s list for the sixth time is quite humbling,” said Judson Kleinman, Founder and President of Corporate Essentials. “I’ve been lucky to be able to surround myself with great people who are amazing at what they do, and absolutely refuse to settle for mediocrity.”

Of the ‘tens of thousands’ of companies who apply for the annual Inc. Magazine list, only 5,000 actually make it, and only about four percent of the companies ranked on the Inc. 5,000 list have made it six times or more.

When Corporate Essentials first made the list in 2007, it was a company of approximately 20 people; at the time this year’s rankings were released, there were more than 95 full-time employees at the New Jersey-based business.

“Right now, in an ultra-competitive environment, we are providing a solution that is very much on trend for many businesses,” said Kleinman. “Companies are focusing more and more on creating a great break room experience; we make doing just that much easier.”

Corporate Essentials’ ability to quickly pivot, and adapt to current market conditions is truly one of the reasons it has been able to keep growing at a pace which allows it to remain on make the list six-out-of-the-last-ten years.

“Along with the top-line growth that puts us on the (Inc. 5,000) list, we have made a commitment to our infrastructure for long term, sustainable growth,” said Kleinman. “This year, we have more than doubled our warehouse space, increased our refrigerated storage and delivery capabilities ten-fold, and created positions allowing us to add very talented people to our team.”

Inc. Magazine began publishing their list in 1982 as the Inc. 500 list, and since then, it has not only expanded to include 5,000 companies; but also spawned a European version ranking Europe’s top 5,000, fastest growing companies as well.

“This year, the winners have, once again, placed the bar very high,” said Eric Schurenberg, President and Editor and Chief of Inc Media. “Companies that made the list, on average, have grown sixfold since 2013. Over a stretch when the economy grew just 6.7 percent.”
