The distributor developed the coffee in support and celebration of City of Hope, a leading research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases.

Five percent of sales are donated to City of Hope to fund research toward finding a cure for breast cancer. The product launched in Fall of 2015, recently presenting their first donation check of $2,500 to City of Hope. Gourmet Coffee Service added a new e-commerce platform to their website to encourage sales on a broader scale. The distributor aims to raise $25,000 by the end of 2016.
