Study: Peppermint Tea Aids Memory, Chamomile Slows It Down

Tea has been a growing segment within office coffee service, including in the U.S. Much of the research surrounding tea has been focused on the benefits associated with consumption of Green Tea, but a recent study published last month covers herbal teas and the effects they have on adults. Peppermint tea was found to significantly improve long-term and working memory in adults, according to a report on DailyMail.com. On the other hand, chamomile tea slowed memory and attention speed. The study consisted of 180 participants randomly given peppermint tea, chamomile tea or hot water.
