NAMA Women Of The Industry To Host Fun Run At CTW

CHICAGO – August 24, 2015 – NAMA announced today that its Women of the Industry (WIN) group will host a 4k Fun Run during this year’s Coffee Tea & Water show in Washington, D.C., November 2-4.

The WIN Fun Run/Walk, to be held Tuesday, November 3rd from 6:30am-8:00am, is a first for the industry. Honorary Co-Chairs Emily Jed of Vending Times and Emily Refermat of Automatic Merchandiser will kick off the race at the start line. “WIN is proud to present the inaugural WIN Fun Run/Walk,” said Heidi Chico, NAMA Board Member, President of The Wittern Group and Chair of the WIN Fun Run/Walk. “As female industry leaders, WIN believes in spreading awareness on health and nutrition issues, including consumer choice and better for your options. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go towards the NAMA Foundation to benefit NAMA’s signature FitPick® nutrition program,” she continued.

Register by October 15 to ensure receiving a T-shirt. On race day, t-shirts will be available while supplies last. The race begins and ends at The Gaylord National Resort. The rain date for the event is Wednesday, November 4, start time of 6:30 am.
