USDA Releases June 2019 World Markets, Trade Report On Coffee

June 19, 2019

The U.S. Department of Agriculture released its June 2019 edition Coffee: World Markets and Trade report on June 14. The report forecasts that world coffee production for 2019/20 will be 5.4 million bags lower than the previous year, primarily due to Brazil's Arabica trees going into a lower level of their production cycle. The report also predicted that coffee consumption will be at a record 167.9 million bags worldwide.
