Culture Pop Soda adds sparkling raspberry lemonade with live probiotics
Culture Pop Soda is expanding into lemonade with the launch of Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade.
The company says the new flavor is a carbonated alternative to traditional lemonade, which Culture Pop Soda notes is often described as “ultra-sweet.” The company said Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade is slightly sweet and tart.
The beverage is sweetened with organic fruit juices from concentrate and does not use refined sugar or artificial sweeteners. The drink also includes organic herbs and spices and a live probiotic.
“It’s everything people love about lemonade, without the 40+ grams of sugar or the artificial sweetener aftertaste,” Tom First, founder and chief executive officer of Culture Pop Soda, said in the announcement.
The flavor is a permanent addition to the company’s lineup. It is available for nationwide shipping through the company’s website and is rolling out at national retailers.
Why this matters for convenience services operators
- Probiotics continue to move into more mainstream beverage formats, creating more functional options beyond kombucha and yogurt-based drinks.
- More “not-too-sweet” flavor profiles are debuting, designed to appeal to consumers avoiding sugar spikes and artificial sweeteners.
- Operators may have a new cross-category item that can be merchandised as both a soda alternative and a lemonade, broadening planogram flexibility.
- Consider testing Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade in locations where functional beverages already perform well.
