Coca-Cola adds new flavors to soda, sports drinks and protein shakes

Coca-Cola announced launches across soda, hydration, sparkling water and protein, with products scheduled through summer 2027.

At the 2026 NACS Show, The Coca-Cola Company announced new soft drinks, hydration, sparkling water and protein shakes.

New soft drink offerings include Coca-Cola Cherry Lime, scheduled to launch in February 2027, and Coca-Cola Strawberry Float, planned for summer 2027. Mr. Pibb Black-Current, a limited-time flavor with blackberry and black currant, is planned for spring 2027.

Beginning in late October, Coca-Cola plans a limited regional test of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Sprite Zero Sugar and Fresca formulated with 6 grams of prebiotic fiber and no sugar. The pilot will run in parts of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania as the company evaluates consumer response.

The company also plans to expand its hydration and protein portfolios. Powerade is scheduled to add Watermelon and Lemon Lime Zero Sugar flavors in January 2027. BodyArmor Fit, launched nationally in June, is a sparkling, zero sugar sports drink with 290 mg of electrolytes and 60 mg of caffeine.

Vitaminwater zero sugar formula 100 is scheduled to launch in grape in March 2027. The drink will provide 100% of the daily value of vitamins C, E, B3, B5, B6 and B12, according to Coca-Cola.

Core Power will add Banana protein shakes in January 2027, in 26- and 42-gram protein varieties. Strawberry will also join the 26-gram lineup. The company said Banana will be the brand’s first new flavor in almost a decade.

Topo Chico Colección, a premium carbonated filtered water with added signature minerals, is scheduled to launch in October. Topo Chico Sabores Pineapple Coconut is planned for February 2027.
