Welch's is partnering with fitness platform Strava for a January promotion that rewards participants with Welch's Zero Sugar Juice and the chance to win prizes. The Welch's Zero-K Challenge, which begins January 6 and runs through January 28, is timed with the “health reset” mindset many embrace to meet New Year's resolutions.

The Zero-K Challenge encourages participants to log any activity, of any duration or intensity, on the fitness platform. Rewards include free Welch's Zero Sugar Juice, a zero-sugar juice made with real fruit. The brand is using the promotion to link small, approachable health changes to choosing zero-sugar beverage options.

"With the Zero-K Challenge, we're meeting people exactly where they are," said Andrew Hartshorn, chief brand and innovation officer at Welch's. He noted that big goals often begin with small steps, and the challenge is intended to recognize progress over perfection.

Strava users can join the Zero-K Challenge in the free version of the app and track their movement through January 28. Anyone who logs at least one qualifying activity will receive a coupon for a Welch's Zero Sugar beverage. The coupon is valued at up to $5.99 and is redeemable at select retailers. Participants who complete the challenge will also be entered for a chance to win one of 50 grand prize kits.
