Monster Energy has launched Juice Monster Bad Apple in the United States, an energy drink flavor previously only available in Europe. According to the company, Bad Apple has a crisp Fuji apple taste and 160 mg of caffeine per can. In its European launch, the flavor reportedly became one of Monster’s top new product introductions, generating “millions of cases sold” in its first year.
The flavor “is a nod to classic juice flavor, but with the bold edge and high-energy performance only Monster can deliver,” said Dan McHugh, chief marketing officer of Monster Energy, in a release.
Bad Apple is available nationally. It joins fan-favorite flavors like Mango Loco, Rio Punch, Viking Berry and Pacific Punch.
