Pepsi and LeBron team up for new Mtn Dew Rise Energy drink

Purchase, NY-based PepsiCo Inc. said it is partnering with NBA superstar LeBron James to launch Mtn Dew Rise Energy, according to a news announcement.

Pepsi said its new energy drink is formulated to provide “citicoline and caffeine for a mental boost and zinc to help with immune support to conquer the morning.” The drink has only 25 calories and 0g. of added sugar

PepsiCo recently entered a multiyear partnership with Lebron James. The partnership begins with Mtn Dew Rise Energy and will span activations across other Pepsi categories, including snacks

The beverage and snack giant said the partnership highlights Pepsi and James’s shared values and commitment to uplifting communities.

Mtn Dew Rise Energy is available in 16-fl.oz. cans in six flavors with an MSRP of $2.59. Package graphics feature a lion as the brand icon, impactful typography and vivid colors.
