Bill To Require Health Labels On Sugary Drinks Fails In California Legislature

Another bill advocating for the requirement of health warning labels to be placed on sugary drinks in California died in the state's legislature, according to The Los Angeles Times.

Sen. Bill Monning, D-Carmel, said he decided to cancel an Assembly Health Committee vote July 2 after seeing that his bill didn't have enough support. He may try again next year.
