    The Arkansas House of Representatives voted 37-29 Monday, March 24, to deny a proposal to ban Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits from being able to be used to purchase soda or junk food, according to AP News, as published by The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
