Philadelphia Soda Tax Revenue Drops In April

Revenue generated by the Philadelphia Beverage Tax fell 7 percent in April, reports the Philly VoiceThe city brought in $6.5 million in April, a drop from the $7 million brought in during March. Philadelphia projects the tax will bring in $46 million by the end of the fiscal year on June 30, which would require generating more than $20 million total in May and June.
