PepsiCo Reportedly Nearing A Deal To Acquire Probiotic Drinks Company KeVita

PepsiCo may be nearing a deal in which it will acquire the probiotic drinks company KeVita,according to Reuters. The company already owns a minority stake in Kevita and has a distribution agreement as well. 

This move is PepsiCo’s latest push to continue diversifying its soft drink business. Last month FORTUNE reported that PepsiCo would be launching a Tropicana product that expands the brand into “functional juices” in 2017 as well.
