PepsiCo is betting that the ‘craft’ soda trend is here to stay, according to Fortune. The company is reportedly making a “bolder investment” on this category and will begin to sell its craft line of Stubborn sodas at major retailers this month.
The line of five sodas is made with fair trade-certified cane sugar and doesn’t use high fructose syrup, a key trend PepsiCo aimed to address. The craft soda launch could help improve the beverage’s image and draw Millennials back to soda pop.
