Gatorade’s New "Sweat It To Get It" Promo Features Hilarious Vending Machine Interactions

Aug. 19, 2015

PepsiCo’s Gatorade brand has launched a new promotional online video series that features consumer and celebrity athlete interactions with vending machines. The "Sweat It to Get It" online video series uses humor to convey that users have to work up a sweat to earn Gatorade. This year, J.J. Watt, Peyton Manning and Eli Manning visit college campuses and use hidden cameras to capture their interactions with unsuspecting students who are trying to get Gatorade from a vending machine without breaking a sweat.

In each video, the students attempt to purchase Gatorade from a vending machine and when it doesn’t dispense, a custodian (played by an actor) tips them off that they have to “sweat it to get it.” The celebrity athletes enter the scene to demonstrate to these students that they must be sweating in order to earn their Gatorade.

All of the videos are available on Gatorade's YouTube page: Gatorade Sweat It to Get It.
