Tea is a continuously growing segment. Soon it will even be a main focus for volume growth and innovation for soft drink companies, BeverageDaily reports.
Howard Telford, senior U.S. analyst for Euromonitor International, who will be a keynote speaker at the World Tea Expo told the source that not only was hot tea the second most consumed beverage globally in 2014, brewed iced teas have gained popularity in the U.S. Flavor innovation is helping drive tea sales across the board and Telford told BeverageDaily that in North America, hot tea pods are a creating a new avenue for consumption.
The World Tea Expo will take place from May 6 to 8 in Long Beach, CA.
