PepsiCo announced the nationwide rollout of Pepsi Mango, the Pepsi brand's first new permanent flavored cola in five years.
Beginning March 22, Pepsi Mango will be available at grocery stores, mass retailers and convenience services channels in 12-fl.oz. cans and 20-fl.oz. bottles in regular and zero-sugar varieties.
Pepsi described its new flavor in a press release: The bright citrus and rich caramel notes of an ice-cold Pepsi create the perfect cola base for the ripe, juicy flavors that make mango so irresistible.”
To support the launch, Pepsi created a national TV commercial that will also run digitally. Set to the uplifting top 40 hit "Take You Dancing" by Jason Derulo, the spot shows a mango pop out of a fruit bowl and roll over to its perfect match – a can of Pepsi – to create the exciting new flavor, Pepsi Mango.
