Industry 'Dominates' Despite Americans Buy Less Soda

Fox Business reports that although Americans have been purchasing less soda, big companies have been increasingly introducing new varieties and options. According to Beverage Digestsoda category continues to outsize trendier water drinks when it comes to revenues. Top brands including CokePepsi and Dr. Pepper reportedly brought in $80.5 billion in retail sales during 2016 despite soda consumption declining for the 12th consecutive year.
