2015 Route Driver of the Year Official Contest Rules

This contest is sponsored by Cygnus Business Media, Inc., 1233 Janesville Avenue, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

To enter the contest, Nominations for entries must be submitted via VendingMarketWatch.com, by clicking the Route Driver of the Year survey link or going to URL: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2015RouteDriver. Or in person at the Automatic Merchandiser booth at the NAMA OneShow in Las Vegas, NV April 22^nd- 24^th, 2015. No other method of entry will be accepted.

Nominations must include route driver name, company name, address and telephone of the nominee as well as the name, company name, address and telephone number of the person submitting the nomination.

Nominations for the route driver of the year will be accepted from any employee of an active vending operation or customers of a vending operation. Route drivers may nominate themselves.

Nominees must be employed as a route driver of a vending operation on April 30, 2016.

Nominations will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. CST on November 30, 2015 (“Deadline”). Cygnus’ computer is the official time keeping device. Cygnus is not responsible for entries that are corrupted or otherwise not received correctly or for any other problems or technical malfunctions that result in the failure of an entry to be correctly and promptly transmitted to Cygnus. Cygnus is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries. Entries received after the Deadline will not be accepted.

Entries will be reviewed by Automatic Merchandiser personnel ("the Judges"). The questionnaire will address the route drivers' abilities in regard to sales, safety, customer service and overall performance. Determination of the winners shall be made by the Judges in their sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and binding. Odds of winning depend on the actual number of entries received prior to the Deadline.

The Judges will choose four (4) quarter finalists and one “Route Driver of the Year.” In the event of a tie, tied entries will be re-judged on the basis of examples and comments about performance.

Prize will be awarded to the nominee — not the nominator. Winners will be notified by Cygnus by March 9^th, 2016 via telephone, e-mail and/or U.S. mail using the contact information provided to Cygnus at the time of entry (“Winner Notification”). Cygnus will have no liability for any Winner Notification that is lost, intercepted, or not received by the winner for any reason. Each winner must be a legal US resident 18 years of age or older at the time the winning entry was submitted, and must provide a valid driver's license or official state identification in order to claim the prize.

Every Route Driver nominee will receive a baseball cap embroidered with the AM logo and the words: Route Driver of the Year NOMINEE.

Quarter finalists will be featured in one (1) page profile in Automatic Merchandiser (AM) magazine in 2015. The 2016 Route Driver of the Year winner will be profiled, along with the winner's company in the April 2016 issue of AM.

Each quarter finalist will receive a $250 cash prize. In April 2016, The Route Driver of the Year winner will receive a trip for two to Chicago, IL to attend the NAMA OneShow and receive their award at a ceremony sponsored by Mondelēz International -- estimated value $1,400. The Route Driver of the Year winner will also receive a TV—estimated value $1,100.

Each winner must sign a Liability Waiver releasing Cygnus of all liability associated with the contest by the date listed in the Winner Notification in order to claim the prize.

Information provided by entrants as part of the promotion becomes the property of Cygnus and may be used by Cygnus in conformity with the Cygnus Business Media Website Privacy Policy. Each winner must sign a release allowing their photograph or likeness to be used in AM magazine, the VendingMarketwatch.com website, and related promotional materials (“Publicity Release”) in order to claim the prize.

Employees of Automatic Merchandiser, its parent company, Cygnus Business Media, Inc. or Mondelēz International, their immediate family members (spouses and siblings, children and parents and their spouses, regardless of where they live), and members of their households (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate.

Cygnus reserves the right to disqualify any entry. Disqualification of a winner may result from any of the following: (i) the winner’s refusal to accept the prize; (ii) the winner’s failure to execute and return the Liability Waiver or Publicity Release by the deadline in the Winner Notification; (iii) the return of a Winner Notification as undeliverable; or (iv) any other non-compliance with these Rules.

A list of winners will be posted on Vending Marketwatch.com by April 13^th, 2016

No purchase or subscription is necessary to win. Purchase of or subscription to any Cygnus-related publications does not increase chances of winning.

Cygnus reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend the contest in the event that the contest is unable to run as planned for any reason, including but not limited to infection of Cygnus’ computer(s) by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, and any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the contest.

The promotion shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. This contest is void in Florida and where prohibited or restricted by law.
