Gimme Executive Participates In NAMA Fly-In

Aug. 14, 2018

ATLANTA – Aug 10, 2018 – Gimme, maker of innovative unattended retail technology that provides executives with sales, cash, inventory and service data, today shared details of Evan Jarecki, Co-Founder and Chief Customer Officer, recent visit to Capitol Hill. Jarecki was part of a contingent from the National Automatic Merchandising Association, representing the $25 billion U.S. convenience services industry that visited Capitol Hill on July 25th and 26th to discuss tax and regulatory reform for the industry.

“This trip was all about helping the consumer and looking out for operators by making a difference on issues impacting the convenience services industry and business community,” said Jarecki. “It is a significant opportunity to talk to lawmakers about the convenience service industry, and to communicate how unique we are as an industry. By developing relationships with Congress, we have the opportunity to help shape policies that affect our business and gain invaluable experience as an advocate for our industry.”

The two day event focused on numerous topics, including the Food & Drug Administration's finalizing the specific requirements for nutritional labeling mandated by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010, and recent proposals to allow commercial development of rest stops on the federal interstate highway system.

“Gimme is committed to supporting our customers and vending industry operators in any way we can and appreciated the opportunity to participate in important conversations involving key regulatory issues affecting our industry,” added Jarecki. “It is important for us to understand the vending community on all levels as we continue to develop new technology solutions that improve both productivity and profitability.”
