Dot Foods Announces Retail Channel Team Leadership Changes

Feb. 10, 2017

MT. STERLING, ILLINOIS (FEBRUARY 9, 2017) -- Dot Foods, the nation’s largest food industry redistributor, is pleased announce three key role changes among its retail channel sales team.

George Eversman, Executive Vice President of Retail Sales and Business Development, announced the changes, explaining the new leadership will help Dot continue to provide its hallmark exceptional level of service to its supplier partners and distributor customers.

“We’re thrilled about the experience and dedication these three leaders bring to their new positions,” Eversman said. “All three are longtime members of the Dot organization, and we know their contributions are going to be instrumental to our future success and that of our business partners.”

Ryan P. Jacobsen has been named Dot’s new Director of Grocery Sales. In Jacobsen’s 10 years of service he worked as the District Sales Manager for Washington, Oregon and Alaska before being promoted to West Regional Sales Manager, a role he’s held since 2008.

“We’re building a team to support the growth we’ve seen in the grocery channel in recent years,” Jacobsen explained. “I look forward to learning more about this channel and helping to find solutions to customer challenges we have yet to solve.”

Mandi Clark has been promoted to Director of Customer Service and Development.  Clark is a 10-year Dot employee who started as a college intern, before accepting a full-time role as Marketing Project Manager. She then transitioned to serve as the District Sales Manager over Dot’s C-store Midwest region for four years. For the last five years, Clark has led the C-store team as Convenience Channel Sales Manager.

“Outside sales and customer service have always worked hand-in-hand,” Clark said. “I’m used to being the face to the customer and relying on our customer service team behind the scenes. I have a great appreciation for their work, and I look forward to helping further develop the relationship our customer service team has with our customers.”

Devin Fogleman will take over Clark’s convenience channel responsibilities in a reconfigured role of Director of Convenience, Drug & Mass. The 20-year Dot veteran previously held the role of Director of Grocery, Drug and Mass and has history with the convenience channel. He came to Dot as a District Sales Manager covering the South Texas/Louisiana territory and was promoted to C-store National Account Manager and then C-store National Sales Manager.

“I built a lot of close relationships with many of our C-store customers over the years,” Fogleman said. “I’m excited to rekindle those relationships.”

Jacobsen, Clark and Fogleman began transitioning to their new roles at the start of 2017. Those transitions are expected to be complete by March 1.
