AVS Companies unveils new subsidiary, AVS Connect, providing full-service solutions to vending and micro market operators

AVS Connect, a pioneering software and technology company, will be dedicated to changing the cooler market with technology and advanced point-of-sale systems.

AVS Companies announced the launch of its new subsidiary company, AVS Connect, effective January 2, 2024. 

AVS Connect is a pioneering software and technology company dedicated to changing the cooler market with technology and advanced point-of-sale systems. With an in-house team to handle all of the service and support, AVS Connect provides a full-service solution to vending and micro market operators. 

“At AVS, we are highly dedicated to providing service to our customers that make their lives easier and allows them to better serve their own customer base,” Jeff Yoder, vice president/general manager, said in the announcement. “Our goal with AVS Connect is to bring that same customer service dedication to the point-of-sale and telemetry needs of our micro market and vending customers.” 

Tom Vogt, vice president of micro markets/vending, said in the announcement: “We understand the unique challenges and opportunities within the cooler and vending industry and are committed to providing state-of-the-art solutions that streamline operations. The continued growth of micro markets and cooler markets will continue to see an influx of innovation where software and technology are not just add-ons, but core components.” 

Michael Lawlor, AVS Connect CTO, added in the announcement, “AVS Connect will provide a full lineup of turnkey and bundled solutions, making it easy for vending companies to expand their installation of all market types.”
