ACE Announces 2013 Educational Sessions

At Game On! ACE 2013, three educational sessions have been announced, plus two half-day sessions on technician and supervisory training.

On Friday, Oct. 4, ACE educational sessions start at 9 a.m. with Marketing For Success: Making a big impact with a small budget. Presented by Rich Carango of Shubert Communication, the session will highlight marketing best practices and maximizing the marketing budget for the greatest return on investment.

At 10:15 a.m., Paul Schlossberg of FW Consulting will present a session titled Invest, Innovate or Die: What to do when everything is changing. This session will center on capturing sales from convenience stores and fast food restaurants by adjusting product line-ups and creating appealing food menus.

A panel discussion on the new products for 2013 and beyond will take place at 12:15 p.m. The panel will consist of large companies who share perspective on the future of vending including fresh food, packaged product and drinks.

In addition to the educational session, ACE is offering two paid sessions.

Supervisor Training Camp will take place on Friday, Oct. 4 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Team@Work Championship Leadership Coachshop will examine the most significant characteristics of great leaders and assess each participant's current leadership style. Action steps will be developed to grow existing leadership traits and coaching will be implemented to build new leadership characteristics. Cost is $75 per person.

Also from 12:30 to 3:30 is the Technician Training Camp. This three-hour class will be divided into four one-hour sessions and the company responsible for the training is noted: OSC Equipment Preventative Maintenance (Newco), Payment Systems Training (SVS), Revision Door Training (Vendors Exchange), and Bill Recycling Technology (MEI). Sessions includes printed materials. The cost for this session is $50 per person.
