Vermont Lawmakers Want To Expand Bottle Deposit Law

Members of the Vermont senate natural resources committee came out in support of a proposal to expand a bill that expand the state's bottle-deposit law so it includes all non-dairy containers, according to The Washington Post in Washington, D.C. For the full story click here.

In addition to government mandates, more and more businesses are interested in recycling to reduce their disposal costs and to be good environmental citizens. In most situations to date, the reverse vending systems are operated by the locations and not a vending or foodservice operator.
