In addition to government mandates, more and more businesses are interested in recycling to reduce their disposal costs and to be good environmental citizens. Vending and refreshment service operators have an opportunity to help them this with reverse vending machines.
In most situations to date, the reverse vending systems are operated by the locations and not a vending or foodservice operator.
