Next Generation Vending, LLC Acquires New England Ice Cream Corp.’s Vending Business

New England Ice Cream Corp. (NEIC), a Taunton, Mass.-based provider of wholesale and specialty distribution services, announced the divestiture of its machine vending division to Next Generation Vending, LLC, based in Stoughton, Mass.

New England Ice Cream Corp. (NEIC), a Taunton, Mass.-based provider of wholesale and specialty distribution services, announced the divestiture of its machine vending division to Next Generation Vending, LLC, based in Stoughton, Mass. Next Generation assumed service of the NEIC vending machines effective on Dec. 21, 2011. NEIC and Next Generation Vending anticipate that the companies will continue to work on mutually beneficial supplier and customer service partnerships.

In a prepared statement, Bob Frotten, president of New England Ice Cream, said, “The transaction is truly synergistic to NEIC and Next Gen with whom we’ve had an excellent long term working relationship. The transaction provides both companies with immediate opportunities of mutual benefit. NEIC will continue to invest in and grow its core wholesale and specialty distribution divisions as well as seek other growth related opportunities.”
