Marin, Calif. Students Call For Healthy And Socially Responsible Snacks

A group of Marin, Calif. students devoted to education and advocacy around environmentally and socially responsible choices has researched snacks sold in school and asked the foodservice director to make changes, according to The Marin Independent Journal.

Editors Insight: This group of students, under the direction of a well organized advocacy group, did quite a bit of research and have given the foodservice operation a tall order to fill.
