Automated Retail Technologies under its subsidiary Just Baked Smart Bistro announced that Robert Meek has joined as vice president of operations.
Meek joins after a career at Redbox Automated Retail where he started as a market manager in 2010. He quickly moved up the ranks to his most recent role as senior national operations manager. Meek was instrumental in helping to lead the transition of Redbox DVD kiosks to a full-scale service business where Redbox merchandises and conducts services for multiple third-party automated retail companies. During Meek’s tenure, the company saw a growth of more than 30,000 Redbox kiosks deployed in the marketplace.

ART’s Just Baked Smart Bistro partners with strategic partners in the convenience services, contract foodservice, airport and restauranter markets where its kiosks are suited for institutions with workplace cafeterias or breakrooms, college campuses, hospitals, highway rest areas, entertainment venues/casinos, hospitality/hotels, airports and other high-traffic locations.
