Summary

For many operators, the micro market and particularly the vending business, acted as a financial life preserver during the pandemic, as industrial locations, unlike office environments, roared ahead with activity. For busy distribution centers and manufacturers, working at home was not an option.

In 2022, it was more of the same, combined with a slight resurgence in the traditional office locations. The 2022 State of the Industry Report by Automatic Merchandiser takes a close look at the upward movement of vending and micro markets in 2022.

Join this Automatic Merchandiser/VendingMarketWatch.com webinar that explores the data – generated by a survey of Automatic Merchandiser’s operator readership – and the results of the 2022 report. The annual report provides information on operator revenue performance, location types, equipment installation base and product category sales.

The webinar will welcome ongoing audience participation and operator engagement.

Attendees will learn:

  • How 2022 sales compared with 2021 and a dismal 2020.
  • About changing product trends – on the food, snack and beverage side.
  • What impact the largest companies had on industry revenue.
  • The importance of promotions in micro markets.
  • About the micro market technology that operators found most valuable.
  • Why it is increasingly important to sell products with location demographics in mind.
  • Whether subsidized programs increased in popularity.
  • What experts think about the rest of 2023 for the vending and micro market business.

Join us and you will see why this is one of our most popular webinars of the year. What you learn may alter your vending and micro market strategy for the rest of 2023.
