Cantaloupe Systems And CompuVend Integrate Their Systems

CompuVend and Cantaloupe Systems have begun the processes of integration between CompuVend's VendPro, Vending Management Software (VMS) and Cantaloupe's Seed, real-time, vending machine monitoring management system.

The goal of this collaboration is to provide CompuVend customers with an easy-to-operate, vending management program that incorporates the advantages of Seed remote monitoring technology with the proven reliability of the VendPro vending management software. This process will be done through the modification of Cantaloupe's SeedSync VMS integration tool.

Mark Kronenberg, president of CompuVend, is excited about the opportunity to incorporate Cantaloupe's real-time dynamic scheduling and pre-kitting functionality into VendPro's Vending Management Software. "This relationship will offer CompuVend customers an additional set of tools to increase productivity and customer service alongside those already available in our VendPro Vending Management System," he said in a prepared statement.

Anant Agrawal, chief marketing officer of Cantaloupe Systems, sees significant value in the relationship as well. "Partnering with CompuVend will eliminate the need for duplicate data entry and provide for dynamic schedules and pre-kit manifests. Reporting of spoilage, product changes, and other exceptions will also be available on VendPro handheld devices which will automatically sync up with our Seed system."

CompuVend's flexibility as a vending management software provider and Cantaloupe's experience integrating Seed into various applications will help to insure that the collaboration effort will be successful.
